It all began in 2014, when I received my first welding machine for my 17th birthday. A neighbor not only gifted me the machine but also took the time to teach me the fundamentals of welding. That moment sparked a lifelong passion for metal and craftsmanship.
After matriculating, I moved to Germany to complete my apprenticeship as a Plant Mechanic specializing in Welding Technology. Upon completion, I continued working for the same company as a welder, manufacturing stainless steel and carbon steel components using TIG, MAG, and ARC processes. My work included pressure vessels, heat exchangers, plant systems, and participation in major industrial turnaround projects across Germany.
Furthering my qualifications, I completed a Bachelor Professional in Metal Production and Management, gaining advanced insight into metallurgy, production systems, and leadership.
I later advanced into the role of Site Manager and Welding Quality Control for a leading pipeline company in Germany, where I oversaw welding operations on major pipeline and station projects nationwide. Managing large-scale industrial projects strengthened my leadership skills and reinforced the critical importance of precision, efficiency, and uncompromising quality standards in every phase of execution.
Earning my International Welding Specialist (IWS) certification deepened my understanding of metallurgy and welding processes even further, strengthening both my technical expertise and my commitment to excellence
For many years, I have recognized the growing need for high-level welding skills in South Africa. My love for the country has never faded, and it has always been my vision to bring the knowledge, discipline, and standards I developed in Germany back home.
